Example: Sydney Harbour Bridge will return photos with all three words existing somewhere within the file information of the photo. The results may not necessarily show a photo of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. They might show a photo of a bridge in a harbour in Sydney.
MATCH ANY WORDS - is equivalent to an «Or» search. This will find photos where at least one of the search string entries exists within the file information associated with the photo.
Example: Sydney Harbour Bridge - this will return photos with a minimum of one of these three words existing within the file information of the photo. The result may show photos taken in Sydney as well as photos of a harbour and photos of a bridge.
MATCH EXACT WORDS - is equivalent to an «Adjacent» search. This will find photos where the words in the search string exist in the same order as they do within the file information of the photo.
Example: Sydney Harbour Bridge - this will return photos with all three words existing in the same order within the file information of the photo. This result will show you photos of Sydney Harbour Bridge or photos with reference to Sydney Harbour Bridge in the caption.
The Boolean search options here are «And», «Or» and «Not». There is also a Date Range option, which will assist in narrowing the search to a particular image.
Once all the search criteria are completed, click on SEARCH on the bottom right hand side (RHS) of the page. The results of your search will be displayed in the Search browser window, still keeping the Advanced Search window open. Click the CLOSE button on the top RHS of the window to close.
